​Hi. I’m Jodi — the introverted human behind Sarcastic Narwhal. I’m a strategist, writer, compulsive overthinker, backyard chicken whisperer, professional pasta enthusiast, and reluctant adult (on my better days).

Sarcastic Narwhal is what happens when dry humor, marketing strategy, and a heavy metal soundtrack collide with a genuine desire to help small businesses be heard — without screaming into the void or turning into yet another beige brand chasing algorithm crumbs. It’s part creative studio, part rebellion, and part coping mechanism — built by a night owl in bed with a laptop and a brain that refuses to shut up.

I work best in chaos, preferably organized chaos. Give me a Gantt chart, a crisis email, or a half-baked brand idea and I’ll run it through the wringer of sarcasm, psychology, and storytelling until it comes out weirdly wonderful. I’m not afraid to break clichés, kill your passive voice, or give side-eye to “make it pop”.

​I started this business to help the misfits, makers, and misunderstood business owners of my community sound more like themselves and less like they paid an AI program $4.99 to write their entire brand. But I also started it to quiet the voice in my head that insists I’m not good enough. This is my rebellion. My “fetch me a shrubbery” moment. My personal crusade — only with fewer flesh wounds and more Photoshop tabs.
I don’t sell fluff. I sell voice, strategy, and content that sounds like a real human made it (because one did). I believe in doing what makes sense for you — not what’s trending, not what the latest Instagram guru shouted, and definitely not what your cousin’s girlfriend’s MLM upline told you to do. If it needs writing, I’ll write it. If it needs rethinking, I’ll question it. And if it needs someone who gives a damn? That’s me.
